Forbidden actions in World Judo Championships: differences between winner and non-winner athletes

چکیده

Penalties in judo result from negative actions that are not line with combat regulations. The aim of the research was to determine differences penalties between winner and non-winner competitors judo. A total 1799 (men=1133 women=666) matches were evaluated during 2017, 2018 2019 World Judo Championships. variables expressed as proportions compared Chi-Square test pairwise Z-tests. ratio receiving first second shido same men women athletes (p>.05), but it different for weight categories (p<.05). penalty athletes, lower While forbidden action differed difference ratios especially leading may reflect some tactical differences. results this can significantly contribute understanding significance both training competition, well further study penalties.
